In honor of teacher appreciation week in May, we are calling on all educators to tell us their funniest stories. We commend you for your hard work and dedication. We also know that when you’re working with kids, hysterical stuff is bound to happen.
If you are a teacher, or ever have been, and have a tale to tell, we want to hear from you no later than Wednesday, April 24. Include your name, the grade and school in which you teach, whether you are still in the classroom or retired, your hometown, telephone number and a story, no longer than 300 words. (Use kids’ first names only.)
Send to reporter Kim Hone-McMahan at kmcmahan@thebeaconjournal.com, with the subject line “Teacher stories,” or mail to her at the Akron Beacon Journal, 44 E. Exchange St., Akron, OH 44309.
We will pick some of our favorites and run them on May 5 in the newspaper.
