ABOUT THE STUDY
The American Cancer Society is seeking 750 participants from the Akron area for the Cancer Prevention Study-3, a long-term national research effort to identify cancer causes.
The study is open to people ages 30 through 65 who have never been diagnosed with cancer, not including nonmelanoma skin cancers.
The nonprofit group is holding enrollment dates by appointment May 18-23 at YMCA branches in Wadsworth, Macedonia, Cuyahoga Falls, Green and Akron as well as Canal Place in downtown Akron.
