It’s cherry pop, y’all

Transplanted Southerners and those who simply enjoy one of the South’s more popular beverages will be happy to learn that Old Carolina Barbecue locations will now be selling the soft drink Cheerwine in 12-packs.

Cheerwine, bottled in Salisbury, N.C., has been around since 1917.

Old Carolina was the first Ohio restaurant to serve Cheerwine as a fountain drink, and it has become so popular that co-owner Brian Bailey decided to arrange for a truckload of 12-packs to be delivered for the restaurant chain’s first ever Truckload Event.

The 12-packs will be available for sale to customers in all of their Northeast Ohio locations, where Cheerwine outsells Pepsi 2-to-1 in some Old Carolina locations.
