Feral Cat Spay & Neuter Spring Fling — One of a Kind Spay & Neuter Clinic, 1700 W. Exchange St., Akron, is offering $15 spay/neuter procedures for feral cats for a limited time. Limit two feral cats per family per day/four per week. First-come, first-served. Process will continue as long as funds are available. Procedure includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination and mandatory ear tip. No owned cats allowed, and all cats must be brought in using a secure humane box trap. Hounds for Huntington’s Dog Walk — 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Hardesty Park, 1615 W. Market St., Akron. Join 2013’s top fundraiser, “Maggie May” in raising awareness for Huntington’s disease and the need for pet adoption. Wayne County Humane Society Paws in the Park Pawty — Noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Freelander Park, 400 Hillside Drive, Wooster. Dogs and owners can walk the trails, swim in the pool and take part in the games and demonstrations. Proof of rabies vaccination and dog license required. Chicken dinners for the first 200 paid participants, doggie nail trims and more for $20 per person and dog and $5 for each additional family member (dog or human). More information at www.wchs.org.

The Bath Pony Club 50th Anniversary Party — 5:30-9:30 p.m. Friday at Allerdale Park East Lodge, 141 Remsen Road, Medina. Party for alumni and current members and a reunion for members of the Luray Hunt and the West Country Beagles. Events on Aug. 23 will start with a complimentary continental breakfast at 9 a.m. followed by a tour of the Pony Club cross country course guided by BPC members. Pony Club members will school the course starting at 9 a.m. before open schooling at 10 a.m. A Stirrup Cup will be 6-8 p.m. at the Regal Beagle in the Bath Nature Preserve. Rabies vaccination clinics — Summit County Public Health is offering low-cost rabies vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 6 at Lock 3 Park, 200 S. Main St., Akron; also, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 20 at Reservoir Park Community Center, 1735 Hillside Terrace, Akron. Vaccinations for dogs and cats cost $8 per animal.

PAWSibility Ball — 6 p.m. Sept. 13, Hilton Akron/Fairlawn, 3180 W. Market St., Fairlawn. Proceeds will benefit the animals of PAWSibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron. There will be a silent auction, diamond dig and wine pull. Tickets are $150 individual or $275 for patron with 5 p.m. VIP reception.
