Feral Cat Spay & Neuter Spring Fling — One of a Kind Spay & Neuter Clinic, 1700 W. Exchange St., Akron, is offering $15 spay/neuter procedures for feral cats for a limited time. Limit two feral cats per family per day/four per week. First-come, first-served. Process will continue as long as funds are available. Procedure includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination and mandatory ear tip. No owned cats allowed, and all cats must be brought in using a secure humane box trap. One of a Kind Pet Rescue Vaccine Clinic — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at One of a Kind Pet Spay & Neuter Clinic, 1700 W. Exchange St., Akron. No appointments are necessary, patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis and all those waiting in line at 1 p.m. will be seen. The following services are available: Cats — rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccine, leukemia vaccine, leukemia/FIV test and dewormer. Bow Wow Meow Luau Adopt-a-thon — 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 12 at the PAWSibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg. See adoptable animals, tour the facility, refreshments. For this day only, the adoption fee for dogs (over 6 months) will be $55, cats (over 6 months) $5, and kittens under 6 months $20 (upon application approval). Akron Zoo Hosts College Vet Day — 1-3:30 p.m. July 18 at the Akron Zoo, 500 Edgewood Ave. College students can learn more about veterinary medicine. Rabies vaccination clinics — Summit County Public Health is offering low-cost rabies vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 9 at Twinsburg City Police Department, Maintenance Garage, 10075 Ravenna Road. Pet Guards will administer vaccination for dogs and cats for $8 per animal. Other vaccines and services will be provided at reduced prices.
