Adopt a Shelter Cat Month — June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, and PAWSibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron is offering reduced adoption fees on all cats and kittens to approved applicants. Kittens under the age of 6 months will be $50 and cats older than 6 months will be $20. All animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and include a 30-day free trial of pet insurance. Rabies vaccination clinics — Summit County Public Health is offering low-cost rabies vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 9 at Twinsburg City Police Department, Maintenance Garage, 10075 Ravenna Road. Pet Guards will administer vaccination for dogs and cats for $8 per animal. Other vaccines and services will be provided at reduced prices.
