Rabies vaccination clinics — Summit County Public Health is offering low-cost rabies vaccinations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Springfield Township Fire Station, 2459 Canfield Road. Pet Guards will administer vaccination for dogs and cats for $8 per animal. Other vaccines and services will be provided at reduced prices.
Bark in the Park Pledge Walk & Pet Expo — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Springfield Lake Park, 2459 Canfield Road. One-mile walk for pets and their humans to aid PAWSibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the walk begins at noon. Registration fee is $5. Children under 12 are free. There is no fee for pets. Proceeds will help animals that are victims of cruelty/neglect, illness/injury, and provide adoption services, education & community outreach programs. Quick Fix Spay/Neuter Month of May Special — Quick Fix Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic is celebrating Cinco de Mayo by offering $5 off all spays and neuters for cats and dogs during May. Regular rates for female cat spays $50, male cat neuters $35, all female and male dogs are priced according to their weight and start at $75 for males and $85 for females.
