Help is available to community gardens in Summit County that could use some guidance.
The Summit County Master Gardeners’ Community Gardening Committee makes garden mentors available to community gardens in the county. The mentors can advise a community garden’s participants on such gardening issues as soil testing, garden maintenance and pest problems.
To find out more, send an email to scmgcommgarden@gmail.com.
In addition, any gardener can get answers to specific gardening questions through the master gardeners’ hotline, open from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays through October at 330-928-4769.
