Sarah’s House Inc., 414 Pine St., Akron, provides supportive services to families and children with an emphasis on educational and familial relationships. It is seeking the following:
• Donations of gently worn or new coats for its winter coat giveaway Saturday. Children’s coats, gloves and hats are needed urgently.
• Monetary donations.
• Volunteers to help with its community Christmas dinner Saturday.

It is seeking monetary donations and donations of grocery and department store gift cards to provide holiday meals, gifts and Christmas trees. Holiday donations can be mailed and will be accepted until Monday.
In addition, the organization needs a pickup truck and a storage site.
