A workshop to educate community members about Alzheimer’s disease is at 7 p.m. June 5 at New Life Episcopal Church, 13118 Church Ave. NW, Lake Township (Uniontown).
The hourlong session, called “Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters,” will include an explanation and examples of warning signs of Alzheimer’s and related dementia; benefits of early detection and early diagnosis and research updates. It will be presented by the Greater East Ohio Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Those in attendance will also learn the differences between Alzheimer’s and typical aging.
