Q.: How long are you supposed to steep tea?
— Wayne Lackner, Kent
A.: There is no right or wrong answer for this question. The strength of tea, which comes from how long you steep it, is a purely personal preference.
In general, three minutes of steeping is sufficient to impart the flavor of most blends.
Some tea drinkers enjoy their tea light, while others prefer it as dark as coffee. This will vary widely from culture to culture and from tea to tea.
The choice is yours.
