Stark homeowners can ask about donating plants to the WORM program by contacting project director Annemarie Miller at 330-224-0015 or tmiller1@neo.rr.com.
Master gardeners will assess the beds to determine which plants can be removed. Typically the gardeners dig and repot the plants, but they will also pick up donations of plants dug and potted by the homeowners.
The program salvages flowers, bulbs, small shrubs, rose bushes and tree saplings, as long as they are small enough to dig and pot.
