Women’s Board to the William P. Kannel Summit County Juvenile Court Spring Fundraiser — 11 a.m., Guy’s Party Center, 500 E. Waterloo Road, Akron. More than 50 amateur chefs will offer their best dishes for sampling to benefit Summa Health System’s Summa Screens, which provides mammograms for uninsured or underinsured patients. $60, $150 patron. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes — Lock 3 Park, 200 S. Main St., Akron. Registration begins at 5 p.m. with opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. Men are encouraged (but not required) to walk in women’s shoes, and participants are asked to obtain a minimum of $20 in sponsorships.
